This video shows the Google Pixel 3 being outdated and not getting security updates which is leaving secuirty risks on the Pixel. It is running Android 12 on the Pixel 3. Just because Google is no longer providing secuirty updates on the Pixel 3 but it doesn't mean that it has to run outdated, insecure software. The Pixel phone has an unlockable bootloader and Google allows for installing custom (non-Google) software. In this video will show the process for getting Android 13 (Pixel Dust for Pixel 3) installed on it. The software that is installed onto the Pixel phone is the PixelDust Android 13 ROM. The last portions of the video shows that Android 13 is fully installed and working perfect. This just shows that since installing custom software can be done on the Google Pixel phones means that if Google stops supporting the older Pixel phones, then they don;t need to rely on them to support it. Things to know after installing the Pixel Dust ROM:
1.The bootloader must remain unlocked.
2. Bootloader warning messages will show up every time the Pixel phone is booted up.
3. Software updates are not part of the Pixel Dust ROM which means that to update it, it requires booting into Recovery Mode and updating the software from there.
